Pimsa Poliuretan was established in July 29, 1975 by a group of friends graduated from Robert College. One of the first companies to manufacture polyurethane part for Turkish Automobile Industry, Pimsa Poliuretan moved to Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone in 1985. In 2011, the title of the company was changed to Pimsa Otomotiv A.S. and moved to the current modern facilities at TOSB Organized Industrial Zone.

Since we got R&D center title in 2016, we make a great effort to contribute continuous development in automotive industry. Our biggest goal is to become an expert in the polyurethane industry by increasing our investments every year. We have quadrupled our R&D investments with the decisive actions we have taken since the first day.
With the dream of shaping the future, we focus on new generation electrical, hydrogen fuel cell etc. vehicle. As PIMSA, we boost our R&D studies and investments regarding to develop new generation vehicle. We believe that, future need to more than one optional, innovator and sustainable solutions. Since we got the R&D center title, we have successfully completed 28 of 39 R&D projects, and we are rapidly continuing our work on the ongoing 11 projects.
We are getting stronger with national and international support in our work that continues at full speed. We carry our achievements to the future with our projects funded by TUBITAK and EU.
