Pimsa Poliuretan was established in July 29, 1975 by a group of friends graduated from Robert College. One of the first companies to manufacture polyurethane part for Turkish Automobile Industry, Pimsa Poliuretan moved to Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone in 1985. In 2011, the title of the company was changed to Pimsa Otomotiv A.S. and moved to the current modern facilities at TOSB Organized Industrial Zone.
Pimsa Otomotiv A.S. planted 15 trees for each employee in Balikesir Memorial Forest, which correspond to 5.000 in total, together with the Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion for Reforestation and the Protection of Natural Habitats (TEMA).
Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation (TEGV) volunteer Ahmet Uysal ran 1645 km from Artvin to Mugla in order to help 5,500 children to have quality education as part of ‘Run for Education’ project.
Pimsa Otomotiv A.S. presented honey to all the employees of Pimsa Group together with “Hisar Anatolian Support Foundation”, a foundation dedicated to sustain and increase the number of bees, in order to support such foundation and help employe Pimsa Otomotiv A.S. also intended to provide employment for the young women of Van by having them weave traditional local rugs.
